Music

choir-22_926

Music is one of the many ways that we add beauty and meaning to our worship and our celebration as a faith community. Under the leadership of our music director Peter Woodruff, St. Timothy's is blessed with several different opportunities to offer or benefit from the gift of song.

Do you or someone in your family sing or play an instrument of any kind? Your gift of music is welcomed and encouraged. Contact Peter Woodruff.

Choir

Our adult choir practices every Wednesday night at 7:00PM and sings regularly during our 10:15AM Sunday service during the months of September through June. The choir leads our congregation's liturgy with hymns and anthems.

Currently, vaccination is required to sing in the choir. Masks are optional - should you be interested in using a “singers mask,” the church will provide you one at no charge.

If you are interested in participating or learning more, please contact Peter Woodruff.

Worship Ensemble

St. Timothy's boasts several fantastic singers and instrumental musicians that contribute their talents to our "Worship Ensemble." This group leads our music in worship with vocal and instrumental music on various occasions.

At other times, singers and instrumentalists offer solo music.

If you are interested in participating or learning more, please contact Peter Woodruff.

Children's Music

St. Timothy’s is in the process of organizing a children’s and youth choir program! If you have children in grades K-12 and would like to involve them in music, please contact Peter Woodruff to indicate your interest in aa children or youth music program.

    Give Now Pledge

Giving is one of the most important spiritual practices we can develop. When we make a gift we bestow a since of value on the receiver, we recognize something of value within our own lives, and when times are lean, making a gift can be one of the only ways to free us from the fear of not having enough. It's simple math, if I have something that I can give away, be that 10 minutes of help or two dollars to share, that means I have been blessed with more than I need.

    Give Now

Ascribe the the Lord the honor due his name. Bring offerings and come into his courts. - From Psalm 96, verse 8

Pledging is an important part of your spiritual life because it is a way of saying, "I don't know what lies ahead, but I am putting God first and I have faith there will be enough for everything else." Pledging is also important to the church because it is the only way we can make a responsible budget and then fund our mission and ministries. If everyone participates, even small gifts can get us where we need to go. Can you make a gift of faith and help St. Timothy's by pledging?
