Music

music-pano_120Saint Augustine is often attributed as having said, "To sing is to pray twice." Music is one of the many ways that we add beauty and meaning to our worship and our celebration as a faith community. Under the talented direction of Peter Woodruff, St. Timothy's is blessed with several different opportunities to offer or benefit from the gift of song.

Choir

Our adult choir practices every Wednesday night at 7:00PM and sings regularly during our 10:15AM Sunday service. The choir leads our congregation's liturgy with hymns and anthems.

With the rise in Covid cases related to the Delta variant, vaccination is required to sing in the choir. Masks are also worn at all times and social distancing is also observed.

If you are interested in participating or learning more, please contact the church office at [email protected]

Worship Ensemble

St. Timothy's boasts several fantastic musicians that contribute their talents to our contemporary "Worship Ensemble." This group leads our music in worship with vocal and instrumental music on various occasions.

If you are interested in participating or learning more, please contact the church office at [email protected]

Children's Music

There is no better sound on earth than that of happy children singing. Each Sunday our K-5th graders begin their Sunday School hour with about 10 minutes of singing led by our Director of Music Ministry, Peter Woodruff. Other opportunities are made available as often as possible for those who enjoy it.

Give Now Pledge

Giving is one of the most important spiritual practices we can develop. When we make a gift we bestow a since of value on the receiver, we recognize something of value within our own lives, and when times are lean, making a gift can be one of the only ways to free us from the fear of not having enough. It's simple math, if I have something that I can give away, be that 10 minutes of help or two dollars to share, that means I have been blessed with more than I need.

Give Now

Ascribe the the Lord the honor due his name. Bring offerings and come into his courts. - From Psalm 96, verse 8

Pledging is an important part of your spiritual life because it is a way of saying, "I don't know what lies ahead, but I am putting God first and I have faith there will be enough for everything else." Pledging is also important to the church because it is the only way we can make a responsible budget and then fund our mission and ministries. If everyone participates, even small gifts can get us where we need to go. Can you make a gift of faith and help St. Timothy's by pledging?
