Community Crossroads Center
Starting as a shelter for men only, the Community Crossroads Center (CCC) has evolved into an emergency shelter for men, women, and children; and a permanent supportive housing program for those who are disabled. CCC helps people turn their lives around by giving them hope and a desire for a better quality of life 365 days per year.
The Mission of CCC is to “serve the homeless and those at risk of homelessness by providing safe housing, and assisting them in developing a long term plan that leads to self-sufficiency.” Visit www.communitycrossroadscenter.org for more information.
St. Timothy’s is one of over 43 churches and individuals who help to provide meals for up to 100 residents at the shelter. Six teams of St. Tim’s parishioners rotate through a schedule to provide dinner on the first, third and fifth Thursday of each month. Team members bear the cost of the food, prepare the meal off-site and then serve residents at the shelter kitchen.
