S.E.E.D.S (Children's Worship and Education)
After listening to our families and truly trying to focus on what they need to be fed, St. Timothy's is launching a new program this fall called S.E.E.D.S. which stands for Sunday's Entertaining Education and Discipleship Service. Our SEEDS program is, not surprisingly, focused on making sure all the necessary seeds for a vibrant faith life are planted in our youngest worshipers. The participants will come to church with their parents at 10:15am then process out of the church and into their own space during our processional hymn. Participants in the SEEDS program should learn the basic words and stories that are foundational for our faith. They should also have the opportunity to "wonder" about things bigger than they are, which is the beginning of a rich worship life. Before the service is over, children will rejoin their parents for the celebration of the Eucharist and a small taste of adult worship. Finally, everyone in the SEEDS program should have fun and learn that church is a place they want to be.
