VESTRY INTRODUCTION / ORIENTATION

St. Timothy’s Vestry, the governing body of the church, will host an introduction / orientation session in the Parish Hall on Sunday, October 31, following the 10:15 service. All members of the congregation are invited to attend to learn more about Vestry service and how your gifts and talents can help to guide our future direction.

St. Timothy’s will be electing new members to the Vestry at our annual meeting scheduled for December 5. If you have an interest in serving on the Vestry now or in the future, or if you would just like to know more about the workings of the lay leadership of our church, we encourage you to join us for this informative session.

The upcoming year will bring many challenges to St. Timothy’s, making it crucial that the Vestry be productive and passionate in making the right decisions for the church and the congregation. First and foremost, members have the responsibility of discerning God’s vision for the mission of St. Timothy’s.The necessities of operating a church, along with changes needed to maintain the health of the congregation, buildings and campus, will be a high priority undertaken in 2022. We request your support, your willingness to entertain difficult decisions and your help to achieve the goals before us.
