Our Programs: Christian Education
Christian Formation for All Ages

Christian Education for Children is using a new curriculum in children's Sunday school this year. It is called "Weaving God's Promises" and is designed by the Episcopal Church for elementary level classes. The lessons for this fall are from the Old Testament, starting with the story of Adam and Eve. Our planning committee decided to adapt some of the aspects of Bible School that worked well this summer, so each week we will begin with music. We have several songs from Bible School that fit perfectly with our lessons. Following the music, we will tell the story for the day. Then we will break up into smaller age groups for an activity in response to the lesson. Later this fall we have several seasonal activities planned. We look forward to seeing the children each Sunday.
Junior High and High School students will have a class based on Seasons of the Spirit and other resources. Both junior and senior high school classes will typically be held in the Multipurpose Building. The teachers and others involved are excited to work alongside of our youth as they plan a program which will offer a variety of ways to gather and learn from each other.
Adult Formation classes start at 9:15am in the Parish Hall.

Episcopal Youth Community
Calling All Volunteers!Hey, you! Yes, you. You're not young enough, old enough, hip enough, experienced enough, talented enough, and you don't have enough time. EYC needs you. It is so easy and versatile to help out St Timothy's Episcopal Youth Community that you'll wonder why you hadn't done it sooner!
EYC's parents have been hogging all the fun... until now! See the following for examples of how to help out:
• Cook dinner: We meet almost every Sunday evening and eat dinner, so if you can cook (or order) a simple meal for 15-20 people, you're our volunteer.
• Chaperone: When we meet on Sundays, we need adults to hang out with us. If you can sit in a chair and observe, you're our volunteer.
• Fundraise: We do several fundraisers during the year, and we need folks to help facilitate these events. If you can plan, promote, or just hold a clipboard, you're our volunteer.
• Serve: We do several outreach projects during the year, and we need donations of time and talent to make them work. If you can pack a bag, write a note, or supervise, you're our volunteer.
• Get Involved: We have several key adults that help the EYC lead our Local Mission Trip. If you can chaperone, serve, drive, or sleep on the floor, you're our volunteer.
If none of these items seem to interest you, but you know you want to help out with middle and high schoolers to really make a difference in your church and community, please call me: I have more great ideas!
Call me, text me, email me, snail mail me, holler at me, do whatever you can to get my attention. I would love to hear from you, lovely volunteer!
