Preschool Staff Biogaphies

    Two Year Olds & Young Twos
Sharon Canosa
has 16 years of experience and educational background in Early Childhood Development. Her interests are reading, sewing and crafting. She loves taking care of her grandchildren!
Vicki Rouse has a BS in Family and Community Services, Early Intervention and an AAS in Early Childhood Education. She has been working with children for over 11 years in various settings. She has worked as a lead teacher in a classroom setting, worked one on one with children with special needs in their homes, spent time with a local early childhood nonprofit organization in community outreach, and most recently has provided childcare in her own home. Vicki enjoys spending time with her husband and three young boys and in her free time likes to bake, knit, and read. .

    Three Year Olds
Amy Phelps Amy Phelps has a BS in Early Childhood Education from Mount Olive College as well as a North Carolina Teaching Licensure in Ages Birth through Kindergarten from ECU. She has worked with children for many years as an Assistant Teacher in an NC Pre-K classroom, substitute teacher and has completed multiple internships in classrooms with various ages of children. Amy loves spending time with her husband, two children, their family dog and two horses. Her hobbies include gardening, camping and snow boarding.
Donna Proctor has over 18 years experience as a preschool assistant. She is interested in crafts, gardening, cooking, football, reading and traveling. She dearly loves her three year olds!

   Four year olds
Sharon Rio has a BS in Criminal Justice with a minor in Child Development & Family Relations from ECU. Sharon has been working with children for 20 years; including nanny jobs, babysitting, assistant teaching at Just Children in her home state, and finally teaching here at St. Timothy's. Her time is spent babysitting and caring for her two young sons. They all love to read together, play outside, build legos, do puzzles and go on adventures. She really enjoys working with her two year olds!
Amy Morrisette has a BS in interdisciplinary studies from Lamar University in Beaumont Texas. She moved to Greenville seven years ago with her husband and has been a stay at home mom to their two daughters. Her hobbies include cooking, football, and family time.

Preschool Director
Leslie Bowman has a Masters of Education in secondary mathematics from ECU. She recently retired from Pitt County Schools, where she was a high school math teacher. Leslie enjoys singing and playing music, traveling, gardening, and curling up with a good book and her two kitties. She loves spending time with her two daughters.
